About me
Nathan Centa is a bassoonist located in Los Angeles, California. He has performed with orchestras across the country including the Indianapolis Symphony, The International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico, The New World Symphony, among others.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Nathan graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Music Education. He then completed graduate studies at The Jacobs School of Music and The Colburn Conservatory of Music earning a Master of Music and Professional Studies Certificate. His primary teachers were Richard Beene, Kathleen McLean, and Karrie Pierson.
While Nathan is not performing with orchestras across California, he works as a reed maker and private instructor to students in Los Angeles.
